Principle Responsibilities

A Host/Hostess will provide an immediate friendly warm greet and friendly smile. They will be responsible for maintaining proper seating and reservation documentation and seating guests based on rotation in a timely manner. The host/hostess will need to have in depth knowledge of the restaurant and the stadium in order to provide direction for every guest. Assist in bussing, moving, or re-setting tables when necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities

Immediately welcome all members and guests into the restaurant Provides direction; helping them navigate throughout the club and stadium Take reservations manually or by typing info in the reservation system in person or over the phone Seat guests in a timely manner (as per specified rotation requirements) specifying who their server is Provides essential dining information on all menu offerings including, specials and/or promotions If necessary, assist server assistant's with resetting tables with fresh linen, glassware and silverware Offers information for all guests regarding the facility Move tables and chairs as needed Clean and maintain a professional looking hostess stand Maintain proper seating/reservation documentation, and provide a summary to the supervisor at the end of each night Provide superior guest services Other Duties

Other duties as assigned by direct report, such as opening and closing duties

Qualifications:

EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent.

KNOWLEDGE: Basic knowledge of restaurant or stadium operations preferred.

EXPERIENCE: Previous experience in a restaurant or stadium atmosphere preferred.

SKILLS: Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to reach, push, pull, bend, stand for long periods of time, and must have basic typing, reading and writing skills. Be able to pass the TIPS/TEAM certification test. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects, and handle stressful situations simultaneously.
