Description
As an administrative assistant, you will perform
diverse secretarial duties and administrative functions requiring
confidentiality, initiative and sound decision-making for a senior manager
within J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. You will rely on
excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively handle multiple
priorities. The candidate will provide high-level administrative support
by periodically providing research, preparing reports, handling information
requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence,
arranging conference calls, scheduling meetings, ordering supplies, submitting
expenses and requesting payment of invoices, travel arrangements, and preparations
for corporate meetings. Additionally,
you will exercise independent judgment, escalating serious or unique
problems.
The candidate will have the ability to interact
with staff at all levels in a fast paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive,
resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism. S/He will need to adapt procedures, processes
and techniques to the completion of assignments and in line with the
department's activities and goals.
Qualifications
Three years of Administrative
Assistant experience and meeting coordination for senior
management

Exhibits increased
proficiency in duties and expanded knowledge and application of software
packages
Strong working experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word,
Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint Superior oral and written communication skills; able to
generate high quality professional emails and messages to individuals at
all levels of the organization; proactive and polished manner Tact and discretion in confidential situations and proven
experience interacting with senior management Strong ownership, positive attitude and
self-motivation, strong accountability Self-starter, advanced ability to organize and
detailed-oriented with strong commitment to accuracy Knowledge of general office procedures (e.g., filing,
correspondence, scheduling) Ability to adapt procedures, processes and techniques
to the completion of assignments Maintain continuing legal education credits/state bar
memberships Effective interpersonal skills Exceptional follow-up and follow-through
skills Good problem-solving ability Blackberry knowledge
