GENERAL SUMMARY:

As a member of the Banana Republic field leadership team, the Merchandise Presentation Manager (MPM) is responsible for supporting the GM in executing the visual merchandising presentation strategy, achieving key business goals and creating a compelling customer store experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:




Drives Business Results

• Leads implementation of product placement, marketing and promotional strategies.
• Drives brand loyalty through effective product placement and marketing.
• Drives productivity of team to achieve store financial, revenue and expense targets.
• Works with GM to measure the success of brand initiatives, in-store trends and market insights to drive growth.

Ambassador for the Store and Brand

• Upholds a high-quality store experience for the external and internal customer.
• Builds effective relationships with cross-divisional and store-center partners.
• Promotes store involvement in Community in Action programs.

Inspires Team

• Accountable for team performance through consistent coaching and feedback.
• Helps attract and select high potential talent; assesses for skill and cultural fit.
• Endorses development plans that support performance needs and career growth for self and team.

Ensures Compliance

• Holds store team and self accountable to all Gap Inc. standards of performance.
  

Qualification

• 2-4 years of Retail Visual Merchandising experience required.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results through motivation, inspiration and accountability.
• Ability to communicate well with others and provides clarity to the team about the brand vision and day-to-day tasks.
• Demonstrates creativity and innovation in problem solving.
• Established time management skills and effective planning and prioritizing skills.
• Open availability to meet the needs of the business, including evenings and weekends.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• College degree preferred.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver around salesfloor, stockroom and office.
