POSITION OVERVIEW:

An effective Sr. LPM is responsible for the protection of all company assets and achieving shortage and safety goals set for the Region. This is done by supervising and promoting Loss Prevention initiatives and programs within the assigned Region. It is further accomplished by developing and maintaining a strong partnership with the Regional Zone Directors of Store Operations. Through this partnership, the Sr. LPM implements shortage and safety related solutions designed to reduce losses through a combination of applications which include data analysis, audits, training programs and investigations. The Sr. LPM will ensure that all Asset Protection and Safety audits are completed in accordance with the matrix and that audits are done consistently and objectively. Additionally the Sr. LPM will supervise all aspects of internal and external investigations as well as ensuring the proper training and development of all assigned LP personnel. By having direct involvement with the training of DMs, Store Supervisory staffs and Associates in shortage control and safety awareness, the Sr. LPM will help drive the company's shortage and accident reduction goals. The Sr. LPM will ensure accurate and timely submission of all required reports and will effectively handle all other duties assigned by the Regional Loss Prevention Director.

To achieve an effective partnership with Store Operations the Sr. LPM must develop and maintain ongoing communication and interaction with their Zone Operations Directors, DMs, HRZM'S and Store Teams through participation in meetings, conference calls and store visits. Additional partnerships will also be developed as the Sr. LPM works with cross functional groups and departments to ensure integrated solutions that impact shortage control and accident reduction initiatives.

The Sr. LPM must be results oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills; have the highest level of personal integrity; and provide direction and leadership to their direct reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Achieving shortage and accident reduction goals set for the Region Ensuring that all Asset Protection and Safety Audits are conducted in accordance with the Matrix Assist the VP of LP with strict adherence to all budget guidelines established for the region. Supervision/Training of Investigative Analysts and Overseeing Door Agents Shortage Control and Safety Awareness Asset Protection and Safety Audits Internal Investigations External Investigations, e.g., bad checks, credit card fraud, etc. Liaison with law enforcement, courts, etc. Exception Reporting Training of Investigative Analysts, Door Agents, Store Supervisory Staffs and Store Associates Report Writing Record-keeping Physical Security New stores, remodels, expansions EAS systems (Checkpoint/Sensormatic) Public View systems Stockroom and Cash Office cameras

Communication Business Acumen Initiative Coaching Leadership Drive Results Analysis and Judgment Integrity QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

Experience in the successful implementation of loss prevention, shortage control, accident reduction and fraud prevention programs. Excellent Oral and written communication skills. Ability to assist the Vice President of Loss Prevention and RVP in training Ross Store management and hourly associates through specialized meetings and ongoing awareness campaigns dealing with Shortage and Safety control measures. Assist the Vice President of Loss Prevention in developing and upgrading training materials and concepts for awareness training sessions. Have the ability to Supervise and conduct confidential, detailed investigations and interviews. Handle considerable travel. Computer Skills To Include Word, Excel And PowerPoint BA Degree or greater, preferably in Business, Criminal Justice or other related fields. Two years of directly related experience may be substituted for each year of required college.
