SHIFT: 8HOUR, Evening EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full Time HRS PER PAY PERIOD: 80 JOB ID: 1500008315
At Dignity Health St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, we deliver humankindness through a wide range of health, social and support services in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona. As part of our team, you will provide clinical expertise, support and oversight that helps ensure our patients receive exceptional care. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to champion the change by joining in our mission of healing through humankindness.
Our twelve-room OR suite maintains a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, which enables us to form close relationships with patients and their families during very difficult times. We also feature a 44-bay multi-level PACU with staff dedicated to trauma and other emergency cases. Our PACU features a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio. Throughout the unit we are committed to using the latest technology, affording staff the opportunity to constantly learn and enhance their skills. As a Level I Trauma Center, we are operational 24/7.
Located in Phoenix, Az, this position is critical to the success of St. Joseph's Hospital Medical Center and requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health.
Dignity Health has made the conscious decision to implement solutions that will improve patient care outcomes and nursing competencies. As a result, all candidates considered for this position will be required to take a Math assessment during our application and interviewing process in addition to providing up to two professional references. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills Basic Computer Skills
AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State.

ACLS certification (in monitored areas)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
One year recent acute care experience
BSN
Professional certification in area of specialty
