JUNIOR SALES REPRESENTATIVE JOB DESCRIPTION
Mission
Junior Sales Representatives are responsible for engaging in sales activities (75-80 percent of their time spent out in neighborhoods knocking on doors and networking to try to get leads and setting appointments with qualified owners).
Essential Job Functions
* Advocate to prospective customers on Verengo's behalf about the benefits of solar in order to book the follow up appointments
* Engage in sales activities by spending 75-80% of time networking in neighborhoods
* Knock on doors where Verengo has performed an installment and target markets
* Network to try to get leads and set appointments
* Obtain orders or contracts for products, services
* Learn and deliver a solar presentation to prospective homeowners
* Provide nightly reporting of leads/appointments and hours worked
* Complete necessary paperwork and email correspondence promptly
* Attend ongoing training to keep up with market expansion and job duties
* Attend weekly conference calls and meetings
* Maintain constant communication with the Confirmation Team
* Partner with the Field Market Supervisors to ensure goals are consistently met
* Communicate and share best practices with management and team
* Demonstrate behavior to properly represent Verengo's core values

Required Experience
* 1+ years of experience with customer service and/or sales
* Networking/canvassing experience
* Kiosk or retail experience
* Previous appointment setting experience
