Key responsibilities include:
* Provides direct care to residents following an individual service plan, treats each person with respect and dignity, recognizes individual needs, and encourages independence.
* Assisting residents with activities of daily living to include: bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
* Transferring and getting residents to and from activities and meals according to their individual service plans
* Serving meals to residents in the dining room or their apartments
* Observing and recording changes in residents' eating habits, and reporting such occurrences to supervisor
* Fostering a home-like environment throughout the community by encouraging activity participation and independence, and providing emotional support

We seek the following qualifications:
* High School diploma or GED
* CNA License preferred, but not required
* 2 years previous experience preferred, but not required
* Compassionate and caring
* Must be able to pass a drug screen, background check and must meet all health requirements (including TB)
* Flexibility with schedule - Position is 2pm - 10pm and needs to be flexible for weekends and holidays
* Must enjoy working with the senior population
