Documentation Engineer - AutoCad - Medical Devices - needed for a Direct opportunity with Yoh's client located in Durham, NC.
Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of related work experience in the development of P&ID, Facility, Equipment, and Utility drawings.
What You'll Be Doing:
- The Documentation Engineer will help create and be an administrator of the Engineering Document Management System.
- The position will manage and support the creation, modification, organization, and approval of engineering documents and drawings
- This job will interpret multiple types of engineering drawings including P&IDs (Process and Instrumentation Diagrams), Facility, Utility, Equipment, and others in 2D and 3D software applications
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of related work experience in the development of P&ID, Facility, Equipment, and Utility drawings.
- Experience with 3D Modeling software preferred (Solidworks preferred).
- Experience with Adept or other EDMS systems (Electronic/Engineering Document Management System).
- Experience in a medical device or pharmaceutical company preferred.
- Attention to detail and the ability to accurately complete technical documentation for equipment change controls.
- Candidate must possess excellent teamwork, enhanced with strong interpersonal and customer focused proficiencies. Be a self-motivator, capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word applications

Experience with Adept or other EDMS systems (Electronic/Engineering Document Management System).
-Experience in a medical device or pharmaceutical company preferred.
