Sodexo Campus Dining has an opportunity for a Food Retail Manager 2 for University of Central Missouri located in Warrensburg, MO . UCM was founded in 1871 with just a few dozen students and more than 140 years later it serves nearly 12,000 students from the state, regional and national levels. The university also has a diverse representation of international students from nearly 50 countries worldwide. UCM's 1,561-acre campus is located in Warrensburg , a town of about 19,000 residents located 50 miles southeast of Kansas City.
Qualified candidates will display self-motivated ambition, be team-focused and have strong leadership attributes. The Retail Manager will oversee retail food outlets in our Elliott Union including the following national and Sodexo brands: Einstein's, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Chick-fil-A, Burger King, as well as Sub Connection and Jazzman's. Also supervises concessions and our restaurant Traditions.

College/university retail food service management or supervisory experience. Experience managing multiple fast food service units and working with Brands experience. Cash handling experience. Experience leading and training a retail food service staff. Proven record of client satisfaction and strong communication skills. Strong financial ability
Position Summary
Maintains food quality and customer service in a cash handling retail food operation that includes branded concepts, in-house formats and signature designs. May assume General Manager's (GM) responsibilities and authority in his/her absence. Assists in maintenance of cash control and payroll records. Assists in supporting the financial/Human Resources (HR) functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year of work experience in concessions, retail sales, or store operations.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
