Job Summary The Office of Student Support and Accountability (OSSA) in College of Engineering's Office of Student Affairs is a primary resource for students struggling with personal and academic issues. OSSA provides confidential and holistic support to students, helping them overcome their concerns, develop strategies to cope with stress, and continue with their successful academic careers. The OSSA administrative assistant advances this mission by providing highly responsible administrative support to the OSSA director, staff, and programs.

Responsibilities* Provide calendar management and meeting coordination for the OSSA director Support the OSSA office by greeting and directing students and visitors to appropriate resources, answering and/or triaging emails and phone calls as appropriate, providing event staff support, and maintaining a friendly and accessible environment Develop and maintain administrative files and databases Coordinate logistics (room reservations, catering, response management, etc.) for meetings and events Assist in the development of reports and data management, including tracking student visits across OSSA services Collaborate with the director and staff in the development, implementation and interpretation of OSSA policies and procedures Coordinate the development and production of marketing materials, including updating the OSSA website Arrange travel for staff Reconcile unit PCards and statements of activity Assist in the development and management of annual budget Perform other duties as assigned to support OSSA

Required Qualifications* Bachelors degree, strong administrative and organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and high attention to detail; strong interpersonal and creative problem-solving skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Apps; ability to represent the College of Engineering and the Office of Student Affairs with a strong, student-centered ethic; demonstrated abilities to handle sensitive communications, maintain confidentiality, and work collaboratively as part of a team.

Desired Qualifications* Knowledge of University policies and procedures.

Experience with M-Pathways.

Additional Information NOTE: This is a 9 month seasonal position (Mid-August through mid-May). The salary range posted is the full-time rate; the salary received will be 75% of the full-time rate, and will only be received during the 9-month work period.
