Qualifications:

1. High school diploma required, additional education desirable

2. 3+ years of work experience in an administrative support role

3. Moderate to advanced computer skills and knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

4. Strong verbal and written communication skills

5. Customer service experience.

6. Enjoys interacting with people and working in a team environment.

7. Sales experience and skills desirable

Job Description:

This position performs tasks in an agronomy environment, and may require travel to more than one location within the assigned district and region. Provides support to the Operations Manager and General Manager, and performs administrative tasks that may be highly specialized to meet the specific needs of the location and district. Frequently interacts with customers and team associates while assisting with sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Engages with customers when needed to maintain accurate customer information and communicates with Retail Operations Customer Master File coordinator (Central Office) on customer data integrity.

Responsible for maintaining sensitive customer information relating to sales documents, transactions and credit records, including but not limited to, social security numbers, credit card information, and other account data, in secured and locked storage at all times.

Provides administrative support to the Precision Ag Department.

Assists Operation Managers with DOT Files.

Assists with customer complaints and coordinates with appropriate contacts and within company policy to resolve.

Operates point of sale system when needed and assists with customer sales.

Processes and delivers daily bank deposits to financial institution.

Verifies incoming and outgoing invoices for accuracy and pricing on delivery of products and assists in processing inventory receivings.

Opens, sorts and distributes mail. Maintains location email account and drafts written responses to all mail inquiries (US mail and email). Answers questions/requests which require knowledge of company policies and current initiatives, and which may require handling of confidential information.

Maintains web pages for location (microsites) and assists customers with their online portal

Creates general correspondences, memos, charts, tables, graphs, and other material. Proofreads copy for spelling, grammar and layout, making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy. Maintains databases, notebooks, and files from internal and external sources. Organizes and prioritizes large volumes of information.

Schedules and organizes all aspects of complex activities such as conferences and meetings. Responsible for invitations, reservations, event print materials, travel arrangements, and other event components as directed by General Manager.

Prepares accounts payable documentation for travel reimbursement, corporate credit card expenses, and payments to authorized agencies.

Liaison for engaging and collaborating with corporate office staff. Interacts with a diverse group of business and industry professionals as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization.

Performs special projects and all other duties as assigned.
