The Villa Pizza Maker is responsible for the preparation of quality food in a timely and professional manner. Making Pizzas, Stromboli, Stuffed pizzas, and garlic rolls while adhering to VILLA recipes and standards are some of the key ingredients in this position. The pizza maker will also ensure quantity and quality of row ingredients at the pizza counter and in the pizza cooler. The Pizza Maker is the "visual master" providing a first impression for the guest and has a special responsibility to present a neat and professional appearance at all the times. Demonstrating teamwork, superior hospitality, excellence in safety and sanitation, and high quality standards are vital components to the success of this position.
1. Prepares all pizza products in accordance to VILLA RECIPE Manual
2. Appropriately judges the volume of sales in relationship to pizza preparation and production
3. Consistently demonstrate the correct preparation procedures in accordance to recipe manual including: Dough Management, Use of dough mold, dough stretching, sauce application, ingredients distribution, and oven rotation
4. Label and date all dough, sauce, cheese and chopped vegetables
5. Be well organized and efficient throughout shift
6. Ensure quality and freshness all the time
7. Use proper par levels for shift business volume, prep to high quality with minimal waste
PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE/ QUALITY
1. Ensure that all quality and Health/Safety requirements are met in accordance with Federal, State, & Local standards as well as Villa's standards
2. Assist management with food regulations by making sure food portions are followed
3. Be aware of all menu items and special promotions
