The CLG team includes Home Lending, Consumer Credit Card, Personal Loans and Lines, Direct Auto, Dealer Services, Commercial Auto, Retail Services and Education Financial Services including the professional services teams that partner with these businesses - Human Resources, Finance, Credit Risk, and Compliance & Operational Risk.

Our Retail Services team partners with retail merchants to issue private label credit cards to consumers for use at their store. It's one of the largest entry points for new households into Wells Fargo.

The Business Lending Relationship Rep 2 will be responsible for making effective, right-party contact outbound sales/relationship calls to large, complex, existing Wells Fargo Retail Services (WFRS) merchants and clients, assist in resolving escalated inbound merchant calls, and serving as a liaison between various Wells Fargo Retail Services teams and clients/ merchants to develop and execute strategies to ensure client/merchant satisfaction plus assist WFRS in increasing profitability, grow sales and ensure program compliance. The incumbent will be assigned a portfolio of large to complex merchants and importance to WFRS.

Responsibilities include:

- Assisting in day to day management of a large client relationship

- Driving sales growth, profitability and compliance for Home Furnishings Industry

- Managing key merchant relationships

- Collaborating with internal partners to include Relationship Managers, Business Development, Marketing, Risk, Dealer Risk Mitigation, Merchant Operations and Financial Planning & Analysis

- Monitoring of merchant contractual performance, compliance with marketing and operating procedures

- Developing and executing strategic initiatives to retain and grow existing relationships

3+ years of sales, industry, or relationship management experience. Thorough understanding of related products and services. - Ability to travel up to 50% of work schedule

- 3+ years of client sales/relationship management experience with ongoing clients

- Experience establishing and executing on sales goals with existing clients

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Background in collaborating with all levels of an organization

- Strong time management, organizational, critical thinking and problem solving skills

- Adaptability to meet client needs

- Strong work ethic, integrity and leadership skills

- Wells Fargo Retail Services experience

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent

- Basic understanding of the credit card industry
