About this job
In this position you will:
Perform electrocardiographic exams on inpatients and outpatients.
Assist physicians with technical component of Stress Electrocardiograms and/or Stress Echocardiograms.
Assist in scheduling patient procedures, transcribing echocardiographic reports, stress test, and Holter reports. Edits ECG's on MUSE system.
Scan Holter monitors.
Assist in coordinating the function of the department.
Assist in training of new staff.
Qualifications for this position include:
High School graduate
Must have current AHA BLS certification
Familiarity with office procedures; i.e., scheduling, filing, charging
Successful completion of basic ECG course or equivalent knowledge of ECG rhythms
