POSITION: Senior Data Warehouse Developer
LOCATION: Atlanta, Georgia

Work collaboratively to define and develop custom reports, dashboards, integration packages. Create and customize SSRS reports, SSAS cubes, and SSIS packages. The Data Warehouse developer is a strong technologist with excellent data analysis and reporting skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely to determine integration, reporting and application requirements, perform analysis to create statement of work and provide time estimates
- Design layout of SSRS reports, and SSAS cubes, and determine the best way to present data to end users
- Develop SSRS reports and dashboards, and SSAS cubes using Microsoft Reporting Services platform (SSRS), Microsoft Analysis platform (SSAS), Microsoft SQL, MS Excel, pivot tables and other tools
- Provide technical support for SSRS, and SSAS business applications.
- Assist with testing and quality assurance activities with data extracts, research and analysis
- Prepare required documentation for system support and end users and provide end-user training for the reports and analytical solutions
- Maintain an awareness and understanding of technological advances; provide continuous research and assessment of new resources and technology available
- Define, develop, and maintain reports, and integration packages written in SSRS, SSAS, and SSIS utilizing SQL Server 2008 r2 and 2012
- Convert design and user specifications into reports
- Develop and maintain application documentation
- Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or technical questions; train end users and technical support staff as required
- Analyze, install and test upgrades of products
- Designing, developing and testing reports, cubes, and integration packages using SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Analysis Services, and SQL Server Integration Services
- Data presentation and visualization
- SQL development in SQL Server

REQUIRED:
- 5+ years experience with Microsoft SQL, T-SQL, SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, and Stored Procedures preferably in the insurance industry.
- Understand concepts associated with various reporting and analytical needs
- The applicant must have strong communication, customer service, troubleshooting, and organizational skills and the ability to complete assigned work with minimal instruction and supervision
- Possess strong non-technical skills including, but not limited to, problem-solving, work prioritization, communication, self-direction, and time management.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to respect others at all times and communicate appropriately with persons possessing a different level of technology aptitude and experience.
- Knowledge of standards and best practices used in conjunction with developing reports and dashboards using SSRS, developing cubes using SSAS, and integration package using SSIS.
