Cardiac Diagnostic RN (Full-time, Days)

Under the supervision and direction of the Diagnostics Imaging Manager and Medical Director of Cardiology, assumes responsibility for monitoring all phases of Cardiac Stress testing. In addition, assumes responsibility for development of clinical stress testing guidelines and active participation in quality improvement monitoring in the stress lab.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Level of knowledge normally acquired through the completion of Bachelor's degree in exercise physiology or from an accredited school of Nursing. A minimum of one to two years experience in electrocardiographic monitoring , ICU or ED. Current licensure to practice nursing in the state of Illinois. Current CPR certification. ACLS certification. Certified 12-lead EKG interpretation and arrhythmia recognition. American College of Sports Medicine Certified or eligible.
