Medical Assistant - Full-time / Part-time

Assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician and clinic nursing staff. Interviews patients, measures vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and records information on patients' charts. May be required to draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis. Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.

Medical Assistant will also be responsible for patient check in and out, medical files as related to charge entry and other front office related tasks. Graduate of an accredited program of Medical Assisting. Certification required. BLS is required.
