The Regional Manager of Learning will be responsible for supporting Focused Service brand education programs within Hilton Worldwide University. This includes the delivery of learning programs that support brand strategic priorities, including the unique brand culture and brand sales of each of the brands within the focused service portfolio.

What will I be doing?


In addition to personally facilitating learning events, the Regional Manager of Learning will manage projects in partnership with the brand business partners and provide support and advice based on instructional design and learning theory principles. The Team Member will ensure the project management approach and delivery methodology provide value to the brand client relationship.


 


Other key priorities are listed below:

  • Act as a point of contact and liaison regarding program content, participant satisfaction, and delivery methods, along with the Senior Manager of Learning-Focused Service Brands

  • Other business partners will be the brand Directors of Culture and Communications or their teams, and Directors of Brand Performance Support

  • Execute the brand education delivery strategy, as determined by the Senior Manager of Learning, that will enable property operations to achieve brand business targets and strong Guest Satisfaction and Loyalty (SALT) scores

  • Communicate participant evaluation data regularly to the Brand Education team

  • Ensure significant program changes or expressed needs for new programming is provided to the Senior Manager of Learning for further follow-up

  • Provide brand education solutions to properties to help them improve results

  • Communicate successes and challenges to brand culture and communication leaders

  • Schedule and deliver brand education programs including instructor led sessions, regional learning activities, webinars, or other learning solutions tailored to meet specific needs

  • Plan project and strategy meetings for the assigned projects and with key stakeholders

  • Support PPT and related class material updates for Focus Service Brand Programs

  • Support offline classroom content development and management (pre-work guides, frequently asked questions, support documents for programs)

  • Work with the Coordination team to develop surveys and measurement strategies for new or existing programs

  • High School Diploma

  • A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience presenting and facilitating proactive and responsive learning solutions to meet business needs and seizing opportunities for continuous improvement in individual, team, business unit and organization performance

  • An understanding of the concepts of conducting needs analysis, applying instructional design methodologies using Adult Learning Theory, interacting with subject matter experts to obtain content for an intended audience, interpretation of functional specifications and/or SME provided documentation and translation into appropriate training components, storyboard creation, relaying industry specific examples to reinforce the training message and meeting approved instructional design and process standards

  • A minimum of one (1) year of project management experience

  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed

  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally as needed and up to 50% of the time

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • MA/MS Master's Degree

  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience and knowledge with instructional design, web based training and information delivery within a Corporate Learning environment

  • Professional certifications: CPLP, DDI, CHT, and Franklin-Covey

  • Working knowledge of OnQ and/or any Hilton Worldwide applications
