The Service Supervisor reports to the Agency director and oversees the new client assessment/admission, quality assurance and discharge processes. The Service Supervisor also oversees the employee training, supervision, and performance evaluation process to assure that Homewatch develops and maintains a core of qualified, competent, and compassionate caregivers.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
1. Service Supervisor must be a Registered Nurse with at least 5 years of experience, preferably in Home Health or Home Care environment.
2. Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
3. Must be able to function with minimal supervision, accepting personal responsibility for maintaining professional relationships with the clients and caregivers, as well as the office staff.
4. Must accept responsibility for maintaining skills and learning on an ongoing basis, as well as adhering to the Agency policies.
