About this job
This role will be responsible to translate the strategy and best practices from the Sr. Director, Digital Insights on the Global Accelerator team to the needs of the North America teams. This individual will leverage their inherent capabilities and knowledge of the local trends to also push better collective practices and thinking across the global Digital teams.
Translate the global eCommerce approach to ad effectiveness, cross media research, online sales research and analytics perspectives to the needs of the local North America eCommerce teams
Provide critical thought leadership through predictive Insights and eCommerce specific data to achieve the defined NA eCommerce goals
Proactively ensure local eCommerce leaders have the necessary consumer insights data and trends to make sound decisions across the channel
Provide critical thought leadership on emerging research and measurement challenges specific to the eCommerce / Digital space for the local Digital leaders
Leverage cutting edge analytical techniques (e.g., attribution modeling) to provide critical understanding of consumer behaviors in this space
Help drive objective decision-making in the digital space culture and practices in region
Model future state scenarios through leveraging large and unique data sources (Predictive Modeling)
Partner with the regional Insights business teams to integrate key learnings and best practices for national and regional customers
Help support Accelerator leadership team in developing common, best and continually improving frameworks, processes and best practices for eCommerce Insights
Provides support for eCommerce Insights work within NA, ensuring it is in alignment with global agenda and rigor

Focused exclusively on Insights for the North America eCommerce business
Partners with the global eCommerce Insights and traditional BU Insights teams to drive best practices in the region
Leverages unique eCommerce / Digital data to drive growth in channels

Expertise with multiple formats and challenges with digital content in terms of navigating various needs and being able to articulate issues with experienced and novel stakeholders
Technical savviness with experience managing the upload and maintenance of digital content
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and comfort engaging with internal and external senior leaders
Ability to effectively simplify and communicate outcomes generated from highly complex analytical techniques into a format and level of complexity that is easily understood by key decision makers and provide leadership to help cultivate this capabilities in other
Highly analytical, motivated, decisive thought leader
Strong ability to influence and work through others to effectively navigate matrixed organization while ensuring that necessary stakeholders are informed
High level of intellectual curiosity and interest in technology trends and advancements

Key Skills/Experience Required
Minimum 6-8 years in a strategic insights / analytics role, with a very strong background in analytics
Minimum Bachelor's Degree. Advanced Degree preferred
Experience in the eCommerce space, especially start-up experience strongly preferred
Bright, self-starting, innovative thinker who is passionate about consumer products
Able to collaborate within teams
Entrepreneurial spirit
Experience in CPG optimal
