Project Associate - AutoCAD - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is working with a leading architectural firm in the northwest suburbs that specializes in the design of restaurant, retail, and hospitality projects. We are looking to identify a quality candidate for the role of Project Architect. The company has a great company culture with opportunities for growth and exposure to state of the art technologies.

Candidates main job responsibilities are:

-Coordinate and prepare construction drawings for bid, permit, and
client review as well as coordinating revisions for restaurant projects on a daily basis.
- Responsible for interacting with clients when Project Manager is unavailable
-Draft various aspects of construction documents such as wall sections, elevations, reflective ceiling plans, floor plans, and schedules using AutoCAD
-Assisting Project Managers in coordinate with outside project consultants; civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and client vendors on a weekly basis..
-Conduct code and permitting research
