Project Manager - Full-time / Part-time

Currently Experis has an opportunity for an Infrastructure Project Manager at a large Madison area agency. The Project Manager will be working on multiple projects simultaneously, and the ideal candidate will:

• Design, plan, and coordinate work teams.
• Follow standard project management industry practices such as the PMI's framework.
• Understand business and technical objectives of a project and works closely with project sponsor.
• Create project charter and work plan and tracks budget and schedule progress via appropriate metrics.
• Establish project organization and methodologies and define roles and responsibilities.
• Document risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Build an effective team, assign tasks to team members, and evaluate outcomes.
• Communicate to stakeholders and project sponsor.
• Identify, track, and ensure resolution of issues and removal of barriers.
• Provide technical support to project team members.
• Handle complex application features and technical designs.
• Design and implement the components required for complex application features.
• Generally manage a group of applications systems analysts.
• Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Professional certification is highly desirable.
• Project Manager Capabilities with 11 or more years of experience.
• Capable of managing a project with up to ten (10) or more staff and/or a project with multiple subprojects.

Qualification (Must Have)

• 7 years of project management of successful enterprise-level infrastructure projects
• 7 years of Network/Infrastructure experience (will need to develop detailed technical designs to meet agency network needs)
• Experience with Local Area Networks (LAN)
• Experience with Network Administration, Network Security (Firewalls), VMWare Virtual Infrastructure (ESX server & vCenter)
• Knowledge of storage concepts
