Field Service Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

FIELD SERVICE/CONTROLS ENGINEER

• 50% travel, in the Midwest, up to about a 7hr drive
• 60% programming, 40% electrical design

MUST HAVE

• Minimum of 5 years experience AS A CONTROLS ENGINEER
• Heat treat or combustion experience
• Bachelor's degree

JOB DUTIES

-Will be travelling to customer sites for the installation, programming, control panel design, wiring, and testing of industrial heat treat equipment

-Will design safe, cost effective controls and automation for combustion equipment

-Will be required to Perform PLC programming, controls and instrumentation design to include control panels, wiring, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.

-Will work with electrical control layout and panel building.

-Allen Bradley Programming and setup of PLC, HMI, VFD, controllers, etc.

-Producing and implementing designs, creating test procedures, testing, evaluating, modifying and calibrating products/instruments, writing reports and documentation, analyzing and interpreting data
