The Winter Seasonal Environmental/Village Ops Attendant will be responsible for assisting with the waste reduction program Beaver Creek as well as working with the Base Operations teams in supporting the operation of Beaver Creek. The attendants responsibilities include but are not limited to: handling and properly disposing of recycling, compost, and other materials, such as oil based wastes and universal wastes, coming from all aspects of Beaver Creek's operations, and assisting with "Zero-Waste" event implementation throughout the year. This position will also assist with basic base/resort operations, in things such as event set up, snow removal, lawn maintenance and other duties as assigned. Other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications:
    • Must be able to work un-supervised - required
    • High School Diploma or equivalent - required
    • Must have a valid driver's license - required
    • Must have an acceptable driving record - required
    • Must have the ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle - required
    • Must have the ability to drive in all adverse mountain weather conditions - required
    • Must be able to work outside in all adverse mountain weather conditions - required
    • Must be able to meet physical requirements for hiking/working in mountain environment including kneeling, squatting, walking outside on uneven and sometimes slippery surfaces - required
    • Must be able to lift and carry up to 100lbs - required
    • Must be able to read, write, speak, comprehend and understand English fluently - required
    • Weekend, Holidays and special events may be required
    • Must have at least an intermediate skiing/riding ability - required
    • In person interviews - preferred
