We are looking for a Human Resource Supervisor in our Brooklyn Park (Minneapolis), MN distribution center. As a business partner, this position will play an integral role and will be responsible for the management of employment and team member relation activities within the distribution center. This individual will maintain an in-depth understanding of business objectives, programs and challenges, and provide consultation and communication to management on HR issues, policies, procedures, and practices in support of the business. This role will facilitate the resolution of significant employment challenges including, but not limited to, investigations, conflict resolution, handling negations and collective bargaining agreements, hiring programs, turnover reduction and agency charges. Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field preferred
  • Experience in handling negotiations and collective bargaining agreements
  • Bilingual not required, but preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of Human Resources Management principles, practices and procedures
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations including EEO, FMLA, OSHA, FLSA, etc.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and make independent decisions
  • Experience in creating, monitoring, enhancing and evaluating recruitment programs
  • Ability to work well and communicate, both written and verbally, with employees at all levels throughout the organization
  • Strong organization skills with a keen ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, diplomacy and the highest level of discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required
  • Good presentation skills to various sized groups
