Responsibilities* This position will support several clinical faculty. Duties will include managing complex calendars for faculty and rooms using MS Outlook, arranging travel and preparing travel and expense reports, preparing manuscripts for publication, drafting correspondence on behalf of the faculty, assisting with grant applications, annual reports and renewals, maintaining faculty bibliographies in My NCBI, CV's and biosketches, creating and distributing complex agendas for invited speakers, prospective personnel and industry guests, transcribing manuscripts and foundation grant reviews, setting up lab meetings, working with caterers to provide meals at assorted meetings and events, support laboratory staff with non-laboratory administrative tasks. This position is physically located at Traverwood II in Northeast Ann Arbor. This position will serve as primary contact for building and maintenance issues at both Traverwood II and IV. This will include managing building access, deliveries/dock access, minor maintenance issues, etc.

Required Qualifications* High School diploma or equivalent required. Two to four years administrative experience. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Expert-level skills in MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Experience procuring laboratory and office supplies as well as significant reimbursement (Concur) experience is required. Ability to exercise judgment in setting priorities while maintaining a flexible and professional manner. Excellent attendance record. Experience supporting research-oriented faculty. Experience in making complex travel arrangements and coordinating meetings, itineraries and hosting. Excellent proofreading and editing skills.

Desired Qualifications* Bachelor degree in business administration or similar field of study is preferred. Experience in grant submissions, editorial responsibilities and manuscript submissions strongly desired. Knowledge of NIH eRA Commons, and My NCBI desired.
