About this job

Responsibilities* Provides general clerical support in a patient care environment. Arranges and coordinates support and ancillary services for patient care. Provides customer service to patients by facilitating business processes including appointment scheduling, check-in and check-out, pre-arrival and telephone. Responds to inquiries concerning department programs, services and activities.

Required Qualifications* High School diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary. Some clerical experience, preferably in a medical setting is necessary.

Excellent computer and phone skills are necessary

Ability to sit for long periods of time.

Ability to multitask

Must have excellent customer service skills

Able to work in a fast paced enviroment

This position will learn all areas of clerical support and work different stations depending on the day and staffin.

Desired Qualifications* Demonstrate positive communication skills and ability to relate well with a diverse group of people.

Additional Information This position is 40hrs/wk and is located at the Dexter Health Center in Dexter, MI.

Hours are :

Mon 8am-close (~8pm)

Tues 8a-5p

Wed 12p-5p

Thu 8a-5p

Fri 8a-5p
