Steward - Full-time / Part-time

Prepares tableware for washing. Collects all soiled pots, washes and restacks cleaned pots on shelves. Responsible for removal of garbage and refuse. Mops and sweeps floors. Washes walls and ceiling tiles. Cleans and sanitizes all cooking equipment. Proper maintenance and distribution of company assets. Sets up dishwashing machine. Stacks and stores clean dishes in proper kitchen areas. Will work in a variety of the food outlets at the Harrah's property including: Fresh Market Square Buffet, Backstage Grill, 360 Steakhouse, and the Employee Dining Room.

Qualifications:

Heavy cleaning for kitchens;

* must be able to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds

* must be able to climb ladders

* must have ability to be trained with heavy chemcials (degreasers, etc) and to use floor machines as well as various other kitchen machines

* must be able to read English or Spanish

(MSDS and chemicals in those laguages only)

* must be able to be trained in all safety aspects of position

* must be able to work independently with a cleaning schedule

Candidates must be able to stand for long periods of time and be good at following directions.
