ESPN's Digital Video Team is seeking a highly-motivated, experienced Production Assistant in support of our content partnerships. Primary responsibilities include delivering the best of ESPN's content to ESPN's digital partners ensuring that all internal stakeholders have appropriate representation for each platform.
Responsibilities The Production Assistant will screen, select and cut the best content from the ESPN family of networks. The Production Assistant will curate and edit multiple video assets on a daily basis. This will include video editing work as well as headline and caption writing. Deliver content in accordance with our rights clearances for various affiliate partners, linear wireless networks and other digital outlets. May be called upon to cut teases and major video elements tied to preparation of long form Streaming On-Demand. Basic Qualifications Strong sports and pop culture knowledge, including teams players, storylines, fantasy sports and trends. Proficient in all aspects of NLE or digital video editing. Demonstrate basic understanding of television production including field producing and camera operation. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple and varied tasks. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Required Education College degree in communication or related field.
