About this job
**This position will be located in Lancaster, TX**
Act as Service Center Requisitioner for all goods & services (leases, facility services, temp labor, warehouse labor, supplies, etc). This includes P-Card purchasing and reconciliation.
Maintain and develop all vendor/supplier support for purchasing
Lead efforts focused on vendor compliance, Service Center spend, warranty compliance & cost management. Drive reapplication of OG&S (Other Goods & Services) learnings and best practices across the supply chain.
Lead and direct all Service Center indirect goods and services procurement ensuring proper approvals, taxation and adherence to PepsiCo Corporate policies and procedures.
Maintain financial SOPs
Procure annual competitive bids for all items not covered under National PepsiCo agreements.
Review all local contracts to ensure they are in compliance with PepsiCo terms and conditions including annual Certificate of Insurance issuances.
Work with Service Center management to effectively resolve vendor performance or billing issues.
Ensure that the site utilizes national agreements 90% of the time.
Work with suppliers, Service Center management and PepsiCo Financial Shared Services to quickly resolve issues (including, but on limited to invoices, receiving & purchase order discrepancies).
Research, code and ensure payment of local freight bills
Reconciliation and coding of UPS invoices
Work with SC Manager on period financials including, but not limited to accruals, re-projection of period forecasting, and explanation of variances
Manage Chep reconciliation process
Manage detention process in CassPort system
Ensure compliance to SOX and PepsiCo corporate policies & procedures including quarterly Self-Assessment Guides for finance related activities
Provide support for Annual Operating Plan annually and track adherence
Support all audit functions and ensure documentation as required by PepsiCo
Provide administrative support for Service Center Manager
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required - Business Management (Purchasing or Accounting) or Technical Field (Engineering) preferred
2-4 year experience of financial and/or purchasing in a manufacturing environment
Analytical, technical and problem solving skills
Strong negotiation skills and conflict resolution
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong computer skills. Word, Excel, and SAP
Self-starter with minimal need for daily direction
Highly motivated and able to work with multiple teams vendors and suppliers
Ability to work effectively with people in all levels and functions in the organization
Experience with annual budgeting preferred
