Position Summary:
The SAP Receiver position main purpose is to confirm the receipt of product and/or services at the Field Unit level in SAP. This position reports to the food storeroom management with dotted line to Unit Controller (or Financial Manager)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for matching the SAP PO (hard copy) with the receiving vendor paperwork.
Once the paperwork is matched the receiver will bring up the PO in SAP (electronic copy) and document by each item quantity received.
Communicates discrepancies between SAP PO and inbound paperwork from supplier to the unit buyer.
Submits request for new SAP item numbers to SAP coordinator based on discrepancies found on between SAP PO and inbound paperwork.
Updates standard PO price & vendor item numbers on Info records for non electronic suppliers as needed.
Compares the price on the SAP PO for each item to the price on the receiving documents. Communicates discrepancies to the buyer (short term responsibility. Long term will be a part of Datamatics function)
Organizes and prepares (based of requirements) unit invoices to Datamatics as per company policy.
Be the liaison with Datamatics to answer any questions on the unit's behalf.
Manages units PO's system within SAP to ensure all are accounted.
End of month duties include accounting for the units expenses using the tools available.
Works with the physical inventory team to ensure accurate and timely entry of physical inventory data.
Assists SAP coordinator in month end MF47 clearing.
Acts as the backup in the daily inventory back flush process as needed.
Education:
High School graduate or GED required
Work Experience:
2-5 years clerical or data entry experience required
Job Skills:
Basic computer skills
Basic understanding of PO's, bill of laden paperwork and ability to understand customer paperwork
Good verbal, written communication skills
Self-starter with good attention to detail and excellent organization skills.
Strong math skills.
Good problem solving skills
Communication Skills:
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate with multiple employees in a fast paced environment

Environmental Requirements:
Most work is performed in an office setting and warehouse environment
Must be able to lift, push, pull and move product, equipment, supplies, etc., in excess of twenty-five (25) pounds.
