Partner with hiring managers to develop a recruitment strategy to attract top talent and to meet hiring deadlines, through pre-interview meetings and post-interview debriefs Perform full cycle recruiting activities including sourcing, interviewing, reference checking, negotiating and extending offers Sourcing and developing a pipeline of active and passive job seekers using networking, professional organizations, the internet, direct sourcing and referrals Manage the review, pre-qualification, and distribution of incoming resumes submitted via Alexion website and other sources Learn to articulate Alexion's value proposition and to create one specific to each assigned recruitment project Facilitate the interview process and assessment of talent Partner with HR Business Partners and Compensation to prepare candidate offer packages, negotiate and extend job offers and coordinate on-boarding for newly hired employees. Track progress/metrics and provide regular updates, use Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage requisitions, candidates, etc. Work with stakeholders to ensure a positive candidate experience through the entire employment lifecycle.
Skills Demonstrated ability to evaluate candidates for cultural fit as well as conduct interviews in a manner that creates a positive experience for the candidates Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels Excellent prioritization and judgment skills Strong sourcing skills with demonstrated success in networking or building pipelines (using advanced internet search methodologies) as well as candidate assessment skills Proven expertise in using a variety of tools to hire top talent Excellent Project Management Skills Ability to navigate the organizational/political environment of an organization Strong technical skills, specifically using enterprise Applicant Tracking Systems ATS skills.

Demonstrated time management expertise and ability to balance multiple priorities Character/ personality traits: Self-starter, confident, outgoing, persuasive, persistent, responsive, accountable Able to quickly interpret verbal and non-verbal cues during a conversation Demonstrated ability to quickly assimilate new information and translate into actionable recruitment-related strategies and activities Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies, functions, and cultures/ geographies as a basis for developing sourcing strategies and talent acquisition plans Works effectively in both individual and team-based settings and projects, with high sense of urgency.
Specific experience with social networking sites (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) as tools for recruiting activities Interact with internal/external customers providing sound guidance on significant recruitment challenges Formal interview/ selection training experience preferred
