Primary Responsibilities:

Review, understand & communicate project details for assigned print projects
Serve as primary day-to-day contact for print vendors
Provide recommendations and obtain internal expenditure approval for best format, economic order quantity, fulfillment method, document estimates
Monitor Purchase Order status through invoicing; ensuring price, General Ledger coding and quantity accuracy
Provide final art files, print specifications, quantities, ship-to address, labeling and shipping instructions to print vendors
Develop and maintain vendor timelines and print production schedules
Hold vendor accountable to quality and print production schedule and ensure accurate reporting
Receive, review and approve printer proofs (in conjunction with and/or on behalf of the business owner)
Attend press checks in order to provide on-site direction regarding color corrections as necessary
Monitor on time, on budget, quality and cost-effective delivery of materials by print & fulfillment vendors
Keeping leadership and business stakeholders apprised of potential project risk and provide regular status updates
Create procedures and job aids for all tasks or processes
Maintain and foster collaborative working relationships with team members, internal clients and external vendors

Requirements

Required Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree or HS diploma/GED with 2+ year equivalent print production related work experience

2 years of print production experience

1 year experience with offset & digital printing

1 year experience with variable data printing

1 year of experience in business analysis

Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint
Preferred Qualifications:


Project management expertise including project methodology (requirements, design, development, test and implementation)

Familiarity with Six Sigma methodology

Ability to influence customers to follow sound project management practices

Ability to build and maintain trust relationships with a customer

Ability to diagnose Project Problems and provide proactive project risk management

Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely

Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance multiple priorities and projects

Ability to effectively communicate risk and accountability

Experience in analysis of business process and workflow and providing an evaluation, benchmark and/or process improvement recommendations

Ability to communicate analysis including trends and opportunities to clients and the business

Ability to problem solve, including multiple priorities and research conflicting and/or inaccurate data

Proficient in written and verbal communications appropriate for all levels Experience with print materials and process
