Custodian - Full-time

Purpose of Job:
Responsible for performing a wide variety of routine cleaning duties to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:


Keeps offices and plant facilities clean and orderly. This includes:

using brooms, vacuums, waxers, burnishers, powered equipment and mops to clean floors
picking up and disposing of trash and litter in compactor and other trash receptacles
using rags, sponges and brushes to clean furniture and fixtures
washing walls and other surfaces.


Collects and crushes cardboard and fiber board drums; utilizes bailer to contain trash materials.
Maintains routine log books and work description charts.
Performs all duties in accordance with safety procedures; understands and follows MSDS guidelines on chemicals used in cleaning.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
