The main responsibility of the Front of House Team Lead is to provide an entrepreneurial spirit & personality in the operations by bringing organizational skills, leadership and a warm front door presence to the restaurant. The goal is to operate the highest quality dining experience while still achieving profitability goals. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Maintain payroll, personnel, paperwork and other issues as they occur
  • Assures proper preparations and presentation of food and beverage items
  • Conducts on the job training
  • Hires and Separates Food Service personnel
  • Oversees the food and beverage sales
  • Maintains a harmonious working relationship with other departments and non Vail Resorts, Inc. entities
  • Meets All Compliance Requirements (SOX)
  • Attend all required compliance and Training classes
  • Customer relations knowledge necessary
  • Other Duties as Assigned by the General Manager


Requirements:
  • High school education or equivalent required
  • Some college experience preferred
  • 2 years food service experience required
  • Previous supervisory experience required
  • English fluency required
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and other MS Window operations preferred
  • Serve Safe and T.I.P.S. certifications preferred
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Must have a strong work ethic and be able to work a varied schedule in a fast paced environment
  • Must be available holidays, weekends and evenings
  • Previous experience working at Spruce Saddle required
