JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for providing technical support to customer base and sales staff.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
(Areas of Activity and Responsibilities; primary job duties)
Provides technical support for customer base.
Assists customers In Interpretation of product specifications and test methods.
Makes determination as to product/application problems prior to engineering Involvement.
Provides customer Interface to Internal departments
Provides technical support to sales force by generating application notes and assisting in sales training.
Makes Initial review for special product opportunities and provide ongoing customer Interface In developing select opportunities.
Writes and Implements E.C.O.'s when necessary.
Modifies standard products to create specials when necessary.
Supports outside sales in developing action plans for penetrating key focus/target accounts and new target markets.
Identifies and internally communicates new markets and market niche potential (market trends) for development of new product offerings.
Identifies and maintains a Key Engineering contact list for the region. Periodically contacts the Individuals directly.
Establishes relationship and communicates directly with TTC engineering.
Aggressively pursues sample feedback with outside sales and directly with customer engineering groups.
Support product management and marketing on all engineering related Issues for releasing new product announcements to field sales.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBLITIES:

Travel to customer sites as required.
Performs other related duties as required.
Responsible for adherence to company safe work practices, safety regulations and good housekeeping.
Responsible for adherence to company EEO policies.
Provides Input to competitive benchmarking database.
Supports the applications engineering reference library with documented case studies on technical Issues resolution.
Supports all company activities aimed at reducing excess and obsolescence Inventory.
