Electronics Repair Technician

Position Summary

This is a 1st shift opportunity that is a contract to hire. Under limited supervision, performs electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies, and wiring of moderate complexity. Works from production and assembly drawings, parts list, diagrams, schematics and verbal instructions.

• Electrical and mechanical assembly of company products using hand and power tools
• Knowledge of various hardware sizes and threads and wire types and gages
• Solder, touch-up, component identification, and component prep

Education/License Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Technical schooling (or equivalent experience in electrical assembly) required

Experience Requirements

• Prior experience in electrical assembly, wiring, or soldering (or technical schooling) required

Competencies

• Solder, touch-up, perform component identification, and component prep
• Read and understand assembly blueprints, electrical schematics and diagrams
• Use a wide variety of hand and power tools
• Knowledge of various hardware sizes and threads and wire types and gages
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a team environment
