Sodexo Campus Dining has an opportunity for a Food Service Manager II (Resident Dining Manager) to oversee the resident dining program at Western State Colorado University. Western State is located in beautiful Gunnison, CO -- an ideal setting for outdoor enthusiasts! This is a Sodexo "Reference Account" featuring our "Fresh 2" Resident Dining Program with multi-layered platforms in the premier University Center location.

This position will be responsible for successfully coordinating and directing resident dining activities through subordinate supervisors and employees with primary focus on financial performance, client retention, policy compliance and employee training and development. The ideal candidate is currently an innovative, service-minded person in a leadership role with experience in large volume food operations background and managing/developing teams. **Relocation Assistance is available!!**

Reporting to the General Manager, the ideal Resident Dining Manager candidate will possess the following:

Experience with campus dining programs including resident dining board plans. Strong team development skills. Strong client interaction skills in order to partner with Resident Life for promotions and special events. Proven P&L management. Position Summary

Responsible for managing multi-functional food service areas in a single unit. May assume General Manager's (GM) responsibilities and authority in his/her absence. Assists in maintenance of cash control and payroll records. Assists in supporting the financial/Human Resources (HR) functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED

Basic Management Experience - 1 year

Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
