Job Description

Position Overview:

The NYC Installation manager works directly with Project Management, Area Service Managers, Account Executives and Product Sales Specialists in the NYC Region.

Responsibilities:

* Direct management of a team of Six Union Installation Engineers and additional Field Service Engineers who work part time on installations when volume requires it.

* Per the Collective Bargaining Unit, the Union in NYC is responsible for both the mechanical and electrical calibration portions of all installations for all modalities.

* This position manages the installation process, from pre-delivery through acceptance.

* Responsible for building a strong team among all the groups, while driving positive customer satisfaction results. In addition to maintaining Cycle Time requirements & Installation Cost.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

* Minimum of an Associates degree in engineering and/or business or equivalent; Bachelor's preferred.

* Minimum of 3-5 years previous field service required; previous supervision preferred.

* Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents needed, along with the ability to effectively present information to co-workers and employee groups, including upper management, customers at various levels and public representatives.
