At Gymboree Play & Music, we make learning fun! Our worldwide early childhood programs invite parents and children, newborn to 5, to play and learn in our creative environment. We are seeking Playful, Confident and Creative teachers, with a passion for play and working with children and adults for our new location on the Carlisle Pike in Mechanicsburg. Excellent customer service and group facilitation skills are a must, as is a great sense of humor and ability to work as part of a team.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Great communication skills; Classroom, individual, phone
Playful and energetic teaching style
Pleasant and tuneful singing voice
Experience working with young children a plus
Ability to provide excellent customer service
Basic computer skills
Flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.
Strong work ethic
Specializations in; play, art, music, sports, dance, preschool programming a plus!
Background check required
Note that this is not a seasonal / summer position.
COMPENSATION
Paid training is provided. Other benefits include FREE Gymboree classes for the employee's age-appropriate children and discounts on products at Play & Music locations and Gymboree retail stores.
