Dietary Aide-Per Diem - Full-time / Part-time

Sutter Lakeside Hospital and Center for Health is a 25-bed critical access hospital serving the health care needs of residents of Lake County and its surrounding communities. Our beautifully landscaped campus houses medical-surgical beds, an intensive care unit and a new 29.000 square foot state-of-the-art emergency room and surgical center. Other specialized are services are offered through our Family Birth Center , Physical Therapy Center, and Family Medicine Clinic.

A task oriented person performing food preparation, serving, and storage functions. Cleaning and storage of food service equipment. Communicates closely with the dietary clerks and Department Director. Must be comfortable with patient interactions including meal delivery in a healthcare setting.High School Diploma or Equivalent. Previous food service preferred. Must be able to use all food preparation equipment. Continuous standing, walking, and pushing 300 pound carts. Must be able to carry supplies weighing up to 40 pounds. Working environment includes freezing temperatures as low as -10 degrees, refrigerated temperatures of 40 degrees, and cooking room temperatures up to 100 degrees.
