Bachelors degree (BSN preferred)

5+ years of relevant clinical experience

Experience in adult education

Strong human relations and interpersonal skills

Basic computer knowledge

Ability to organize and prioritize work

Ability to partner

Strong organizational skills

Current Illinois RN license N/A

The purpose of this position is to help achieve the vision of Advocate Home Health Services by performing the duties of this position in a cost effective, results oriented and customer focused manner. This position is a critical component of the Unit team and as such meeting individual performance expectations and contribution to team performance goals is required.

To enhance the level of competency of the Advocate Home Health Services workforce through design of systems and educational programs that support organizational strategies and identified clinical learning needs. To facilitate clinical practice and patient education through developing clinical programs and classes which incorporate best practices.

Accountabilities:

Responsible for education and training compliance with regulatory agencies and standards.

Manages the continuing education application process for the division

Assess, design and manage clinical curriculum to enhance competency for Advocate Home Health Care Division

Develops and oversees implementation of evidenced based clinical programs, standards and policies and procedures

Provide division wide consultation in clinical areas.

Collaborates with product line directors and key stakeholders to respond to retention of staff clinical competency and program marketability

Ongoing Practices MVP. Demonstrates Advocate Health Care's leadership competencies. Encourages and sets expectations for staff to do the same.

Ongoing: Contributes 'best thinking" to the organization, share experiences, education and insight with peers, associates and home care leadership. Question/challenge the status~quo and suggest better ways of

Part IIBehavioral health access: This position requires access to patient behavioral health/psychiatric clinical information

This associate will provide educational support for the Advocate at Home associates
