Job Description

Directs all Associate Relations activities and provides consultation to all Associates and Executives. To support the culture and meet the needs of the business. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Builds strong relationships with internal partners to serve as a knowledgable resource
- Serve as a resource for the Territory on issues relating to disciplinary and/or staffing decisions. Counsel staff and management to consistently apply corporate policies to people-based issues.
- Recognize potential issues and recommends corrective action. Empower Facility Management to handle issues through continuous training
- Maintain existing policies including, but not limited to, the Associate Handbook and Business Ethics Handbook
- Analyze data on Associate turnover and satisfaction with issues such as pay, benefits, and working conditions. Work with Facility Management to proactively respond to the issues presented by Associates
- Work with Corporate counsel in coordinating the company’s legal responses related to all formal charges including but not limited to FMLA, ADA and EEO
Provide timely feedback to advise and coach business partners
- Maintain effective communication with all internal partners to ensure productivity, morale and performance of Associates and Executives
- Listen to Associates concerns and promotes a thorough understanding of policies and procedures. Encourage problem resolution through chain of command
- Recommend and advise management and staff regarding personnel practices and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal laws
QUALIFICATIONS
required
- Overnight travel

- Multiple years of Employee Relations or Human Resources experience
- Strong working knowledge of policies, procedures and laws
- Working knowledge of MS Office including Word and Excel
- Ability to manage and adapt to a changing environment and able to implement multiple tasks simultaneously
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others
- High level of critical thinking and decision making skills
