Providence is calling a Registered Nurse (RN) to Providence Mount St. Vincent, Transitional Care unit, in West Seattle, WA .
This is a 0.8 FTE (32 hours/week) day shift position, working 6am-2:30pm, every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
We are seeking a compassionate and caring Registered Nurse to provide safe and reliable nursing care to the individuals who live in our skilled nursing facility.
In this position you will:
Act as an advocate for patients in maintaining choice, independence, privacy, dignity and security
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to prepare and administer individualized nursing plans
Have responsibility for providing direct patient care to subacute patients and long term care residents, which may include those with Alzheimer's and Dementia
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Washington State
Current CPR certification or obtain within 30 days of employment
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
At least six-months of nursing experience
Prior patient care experience in acute, subacute, long term care and/or with Alzheimer's or Dementia patients
Experience supervising nursing assistants
