3M is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Building and Construction Market Center located in the North Central region of the United States. Ready to be part of what's next?
Job Summary :
The person hired for the position of North Central Regional Sales Manager will play an integral role in growing and managing our Building and Construction sales in the Northeast market. This person will also be responsible for managing our MRA agencies, developing priorities, training customers and end users, and directing the sales efforts in the North Central region.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Managing MRA's in the B&C market
- Strategic planning around wholesalers and distributors
- Setting sales targets and priorities
- Supporting customers with training, information, and competitive intelligence
- Introducing end users (contractors) to the 3M portfolio of products
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree or higher from an accredited university
- Minimum five (5) years of sales experience in construction markets
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managing key accounts in the construction channel
- Ten (10) years of sales experience in construction markets
Location: Chicago, IL
Sales Territory: ND/SD/MN/IN/IA/NE/MO/WI/IL/OH/MI/KY
Travel: Approx 50% domestic only
Relocation: is authorized
