Adventure Kids Playcare in Bellevue is currently seeking a Manager who is passionate and dedicated to providing a high quality of care for children and excellent experience to families. Our program includes children 6 weeks-12 years. This is truly a great opportunity for a qualified applicant to become part of a positive, fun and energy-filled environment, while bringing their knowledge and talent to a great group of staff, fantastic children and families!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION
*Help train staff
*Establish mentor/peer counselor role with all employees
*Manager staff and daily schedule
*Create and maintain relationships with families, demonstrate an ability to proactively address parent questions or concerns
*Actively participates in staff meetings and center events
* Be able to problem solve
QUALIFICATIONS
* Childcare experience is a plus
*An understanding of the developmental needs of young children
*Demonstrate strong customer service skills
*Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information appropriately
*Excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills
*Managed staff in a high-pace environment
* Must be organized
* Assist with tours to prospective parents and explain our learning program to them.
REQUIREMENTS
* Must submit DEL Portable Background Check or provide clearance, if already obtained
*CPR/First Aid certification (Adults, children & infants)
* TB Test required at time of employment
* Food Handlers and Blood Bourne Pathagones certificate
* Previous childcare management experience is a plus
* Previous management experience directing a staff is also a plus
* Manager who is hired will spend a few weeks working on the floor to understand and learn business before managing.
