This internship will be located in Orlando, Fl. The Tokyo Engineering Internship is designed to be a unique learning opportunity through The Walt Disney World Resort. This program will allow you the chance to work closely with a leader, mentor and participate in a developmental curriculum designed for future Engineering Leaders. During the internship you will be periodically evaluated by your leadership team. Upon successful completion of our Engineering Internship, you could be considered for an opportunity to work as an Engineer for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts supporting our Tokyo site.

Responsibilities Engineering Services Global Engineering Parks and Resorts Intern Engineering Services provides a wide variety of maintenance and repair services for the operating and support teams within the four theme parks and resorts areas. The area is divided into several components which range from park attractions to resort facilities with each area having different responsibilities and technical expertise. These areas typically hire Electrical and Mechanical Engineering majors. Basic Qualifications These are the minimum qualifications required to be considered for the position: Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Fluent in Japanese and English Junior, Senior or Graduate student status by arrival date Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree or Post Graduate degree at an accredited 4 year College or University Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (Note: Cumulative GPA stated on resume and application must match cumulative GPA of current institution's transcript. Please, no rounding.) Candidates who successfully complete this internship at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida must be open to a potential future job opportunity with the Tokyo Disneyland Resort in Tokyo, Japan Must possess a valid US driver's license Demonstrated/proven strong leadership, technical and interpersonal skills Must be a team player with strong written and verbal communications skills Selfstarter with demonstrated initiative able to handle multiple tasks and priorities Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office skills (esp. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) Availability to work various shifts commensurate with project requirements Preferred Qualifications Successful completion of the Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship Successful completion of the Engineering Professional Development Studies class at Disney Additional Information Internship Eligibility:
Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship Not have already completed two consecutive (spring/fall) College or Professional Internship Programs Must be at least 18 years of age Must possess unrestricted work authorization Must possess a valid US driver's license Must provide full work availability Must provide own transportation to/from work Current Active Disney Cast Members must meet Professional Internship transfer guidelines (for Walt Disney World Cast Members this is no more than four points and one reprimand in the last six months; for Disneyland Cast Members this is six months of consecutive service and a performance record clear of any disciplinary issues (warnings, suspensions, etc.) for at least six months)
