Cargill Malt is currently seeking an Account Executive for our Specialty Malt business. This exceptional opportunity would provide an ideal candidate the ability to work for one of the leading malting companies in the world and make part of a team that produces malt primarily for brewing customers in North America, South America, Asia Pacific and Europe including Russia.

Position Overview :

The primary responsibilities of this role is to interface with customers through client interactions, provide innovative solutions, manage sales activities and oversee the overall execution with customers to ensure delivery on time and in specification. This role is also expected to manage final product issues through customer service and ensure that accurate solutions are delivered on time.

This Account Executive role is responsible for the execution of the strategy in the Ohio Valley and Mid-Atlantic Region. Office location is remote.

Principal Accountabilities :

*Assure the execution of the Commercial strategy for the specific region, focus in achieving target volumes -- margins and new customers goals. (30%)

*Build Customer Development Plans (CDPs) using Salesforce tool and keep them updated as an important guide to conduct commercial interaction with different customers. (15%)

*Apply the marketing tools to better understand customers behaviors, and react in a way that contribute to maximize engagement, volumes and margins with the different accounts. (15%)

*Develop and maintain good market knowledge-customers, prospects, and competition via social media, industry events, customer visits. (10%)

*Work together with the Technical Solution Lead to seek for opportunities of new products & services that can leverage customer profitability based on a win-win approach. (10%)

*Responsible for accounts receivable in respective region. This also includes working together with BU Finance team to set the accurate credit limits and seek for opportunities regarding financial solutions. (5%)

*Work with Inventory Planner to assist with inventory management and control in region and ensure delivery on time to customers. (5%)

*Work with Logistics manager on freight management for best cost/position. Review annual regional volume needs; Collaborate with logistics on new business to identify best shipment locations. (5%)

*Coordinate any investigation of claims, disputes and credit opportunities. (5%)

Required :

*Bachelors degree

*Minimum two years previous experience in commercial related role interacting with customers OR technical role that was oriented to customer interaction/solutions activities.

*Ability to travel 30-50%

*Successful completion and passing of online sales assessment within 7 days of application date

*Excellent communication skills with ability to listen and ask questions in order to gain understanding of customer needs

*Proven passion to serve customers, with a street smart mentality, capable for developing sustainable and profitable commercial relationships based on compelling value propositions

*Proven problem solving and customer service skills

*Ability to understand supply and demand and effect on pricing

*Strong price and contract negotiation skills

*Ability to work independently and prioritize activities to maximize sales volume and margins

*Must be able to interface across multiple levels of the business in a positive and professional manner

*Excellent computer skills, with working knowledge of MS Office programs

Preferred :

*Previous experience in brewing or malting activities

*Previous experience in B2B commercial activities that includes under the scope a large number of customers of small/mid size
