What You'll Be Doing:

- Working on the Batch team the Senior Mainframe Developer supports the Single Message Settlement and Clearing platform for the client's Global ATM and Point of Sale business.
- Work collaboratively with product partners and other technical teams to continuously improve and enhance existing products and drive new products to the global marketplace.
- Plan, design and develop technical solutions and alternatives to meet business requirements in adherence with client's standards, processes and best practices.
- Perform system maintenance, production incident problem management, identification of root cause, remediation of the problems.
- Select appropriate technical frameworks and solution delivery methodology.
- Adapt to the technical artifact templates per the needs of the project and technology.
- Contribute ideas to help ensure that required standards and processes are in place.
- Perform routine and scheduled system maintenance as needed is support of the Single Message Batch System and its customers.
- Provide on call support for problem management involving identification of root cause, problem remediation and incident follow up.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology and 3-5 years of mainframe work experience.
- Broad understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies is required.
- Good Mainframe experience with Cobol, VSAM, DB2, & Microsoft Office
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills along with good organizational skills.
- Willingness and ability to learn and take on challenging opportunities.
- Actively participate and flourish as a member of a matrix based diverse and globally distributed project team.
