Job Responsibilities:
- Working under the direction of the supply chain planning engineers, ensure the process flow paths for material is shipped, received, stored performed efficiently.
- Perform tasks to improve inbound and outbound material flow.
- Using the CPS Guiding Principles, participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Support the development of PFEP for NPI.
- Support the management of Athens PFEP.
- Manage material to PFEP-defined flow paths.
- Recommend and deploy material movement using defined transportation options.
- Support the validation of packaging strategy and budget.
- Support packaging procurement process.
- Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
- Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients. Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
- Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of logistic related experience.
- Contract Length: 13 months
- Hours: 8:00AM-5:00PM
- Work Location: Athens, GA 30606
